Love your little hummingbird --and that Warbler is gorgeous. We don't have Warblers here --but we do have Goldfinches (which are also yellow)....
Our Periwinkle is very different.... Ours is a ground cover with blue flowers which bloom in early spring...
Hi Reba, Thanks for coming by and leaving a comment and question. I use a Nikon D 80 and a Nikon D5100 and I usually use a Nikon 70-300mm or a Nikon 18-200 lens. I like trying to make pictures of birds, butterflies and flowers. Come back and visit anytime. Dorothy
Thanks for coming by my blog and for all the nice comments. I have a good Nikon camera I use sometimes, but most of the time I use a Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W100 set on automatic because it is so darn easy. It has produced some really good photos at times (when I'm lucky). The yellow flowers you asked about are esperanza--they are my absolute favorite. They produce those lovely little yellow blooms most of the summer. I take them inside in the winter, and they come right back in the spring. Love your bird shots--so hard to catch them "in action". Mickie :)
i was hoping to see some new pictures!! if you love taking pictures as i do, i hope you make time to get outside, enjoy the cooler temps and changing colors and take some pictures to share with us!! blogging motivates me to get behind the lens more often!!
